what is a portable power station?
The Singo Portable UPS Power Station uses leading LiFePO4 battery technology to give you the necessary energy to keep up to 95% of your electronics and appliances powered during load-shedding.
The Singo is suitable for a wide range of applications, from off-grid adventures to backup power for your home during load-shedding or an unplanned power outage.
CAN I CHARGE AND DISCHARGE THE SINGO SIMULTANEOUSLY?
Yes, the Singo is equipped with a bi-directional inverter which offers uninterrupted power supply to your appliances and electronics. In the event of a power outage the switchover time from grid power to battery power is less than 10ms.
how do i know if the singo can power my device and how long will it power the device for?
First, check out your electrical device's power consumption (in watts). If it is less than the output power of your Singo's AC port, then it can be powered by your Singo Portable UPS Power Station.
Then, you can calculate how long the Singo will power the device with the following formula: Battery runtime = Your Singo's Watt-Hours (Wh) * 0.8 / device load in watts. Please note the actual power consumption varies based on many factors.

IS THE SINGO BATTERY REPLACEABLE?
No, you cannot replace the Singo's LiFePO4 Battery. The Singo's battery has approximately 2000 cycles at 95% capacity. After the 2000 cycles, the battery still has 80% capacity left. The Singo Portable UPS Power Station can last up to 10 years if you use your Singo in accordance with the User Guide.
If you replace just the battery after 10 years you are left with an old case with outdated technology and features but with a new expensive battery.
what type of battery does the singo have?
The Singo is assembled with automotive-grade prismatic Lithium Iron Phosphate (LifePO4) cells from the Gotion High-Tech Company, the world's leading manufacturer of EV traction batteries. Gotion is the Volkswagen battery partner for VW electric vehicles.
LiFePo4 batteries are the safest type of Lithium-Ion battery and have a five to six-times longer cycle life. After 2000 cycles, the usable capacity of the Gotion LiFePO4 battery is still at 80%
CAN I CHARGE the singo with solar?
Yes, the Singo 600 and Singo 1000 have built-in MPPT solar controllers. You can charge the Singo 600 with a 100W Solar Panel en the Singo 1000 with either a 1 X 200W Panel, 1X 100W, or 2 X 100W Panels.
