A valid Tax Invoice is required to verify each purchase
Energy Independence has no obligation under this limited warranty for products that are subjected to the following conditions (including but not limited to):
- Warranty period exceeded
- No valid proof purchase provided or the proof of purchase was modified without authorisation, or writing or text on the proof of purchase is not recognisable
- Unauthorised modification / repair / dis-assembly or operation of the unit that is not in accordance with official instructions and user manuals.
- Provided accessories missing
- Non-quality related issues
- Damage caused by using unauthorised accessories (chargers / PV Panels etc)
- Damage caused by improper transportation, usage, operation and storage.
- Any defects or damage caused by exposure to extreme heat, cold, liquids or other external causes.
- Damage caused by Force Majeure which includes, but it not limited to, lightning, abnormal voltage (surge), floor, fire, natural disaster or accidental breakage.
- Damaged caused if the Singo is used where it is not intended to or designed to be used.

I contacted Energy Independence (Powerprovider.co.za) in Jhb via email regarding a compact power trolley for backup power during loadshedding. Neil answered my query very promptly and enquired about my power requirements. Neil advised that what I initially wanted, was unnecessary and I could get by with my needs with a much cheaper system. Neil’s recommendations saved me R13000. The portable power station recommended (Singo 2000Pro) has more than enough power to keep my fridge, TV, decoder, internet and led lights running for extended Eskom outages, with solar panel connectivity for free power recharging. Another bonus is 4x SA 230v plugs fitted (no adapters required). I paid online on Wednesday 27/3/2024 at 09h00 and my purchase was delivered by The Courier Guy at 08h10 on Thursday 28/3/2024. That’s less than 24hrs to deliver to the Durban area. Fantastic service, great advice, good knowledge and customer service at such a high level (Neil could easily have sold me the unnecessary expensive option), it is, almost unheard of today. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Energy Independence for your back up power requirements. Their products appear to be top notch, which they clearly give their full support to (Neil was still sending messages on tips and settings to get the most out of my purchase. Buy online or go in store. You won’t be disappointed!

Hi.
I purchased the Singo 2000Pro just before Easter and there hasn’t been any loadshedding since then.
‘Lucky’ Ethekwini power gave me an unforseen power outage of 8 hrs so that I could test the Singo 2000Pro.
I connected my TV, DSTV, led lamp (when it got dark) and refrigerator (about midway through the 8hrs energy efficient Bosch) and 2x cellphones. The 2000PRO performed faultlessly and after 8 hrs (21h00), when power was restored, there was still over 70% of power left in the battery.
The 2000PRO has a clear screen (and easily installed App for cellphone) which keeps you informed and enables the changing of certain parameters)
The 2000PRO recharged back to full within 40mins on grid power.
A cooling fan comes on when charging and sometimes whilst discharging power, but it is not intrusive.
4 x SA plugs are fitted, no adapters required and usb and other charging ports are included wireless charging on top.
The Singo 2000Pro is quite heavy, so I made a trolley with wheels to move it around easily.
Build quality seems good and solid.
I still would like to purchase a solar panel locally (Energy Independence does not ship them, possibly due to getting damaged), but it needs to comply with the listed specs. I would then have total independence in charging and powering my plugged in devices.

I’ve been using it for three days now, and it’s been performing excellently. It powers my TV, Xbox Series X, fridge, and monitor simultaneously. During the day, it charges through my solar panel, and I use AC charging whenever power is available.

I’ve used this device when we go camping and for essential loads during loadshedding. It worked perfectly for these applications.
